This notice explains what RydeX collects, why we use it, how long we keep it, and how you can exercise your rights.
Information we collect
Your name, verified mobile number, booking and route details, ride activity, support messages, referral and wallet records, device/session information, and fleet or driver compliance information when applicable.
Why we use it
To authenticate you, calculate and manage bookings, assign transport partners, provide ride updates and support, operate rewards and payments, prevent fraud, secure the platform, and meet legal obligations.
Sharing and security
We share only the information necessary with authorised RydeX staff, assigned fleet partners, service providers such as hosting and messaging vendors, and authorities when legally required. Access controls, encryption, private storage, monitoring, backups and audit records protect the platform.
Retention
OTPs are retained for up to 30 days, expired sessions and tokens for up to 90 days, abandoned leads for up to 90 days, support cases for two years after resolution, and security/processing logs for at least one year. Transactional records are retained for the verified statutory period. Legal holds pause deletion when required.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction or erasure, withdraw consent, or raise a grievance. Some booking, financial or legal records may need to remain after account closure. We verify identity before acting on a request.
Website analytics and cookies
With your permission, RydeX uses Google Analytics 4 to understand anonymous website usage and improve booking. Analytics is disabled until you select “Allow analytics.” We do not send names, mobile numbers, locations, OTPs or booking identifiers to Google. You can change your choice using “Privacy settings” on the website.
